Customer Feedback on Georgia Wine Industry Cooperation

Georgia boasts a thousands-year-old wine-making civilization and is globally recognized as the birthplace of wine, enjoying profound industrial heritage and unique wine culture. Characteristic wine-producing areas are spread across the country, home to a large number of featured small and medium-sized wineries and large-scale wine-making enterprises. The wine export industry serves as a core pillar of Georgia’s characteristic local economy. In recent years, overseas market demand for Georgian wine has grown rapidly. However, most local glass bottle production lines are outdated with low automation levels, and the region lacks a mature and complete supporting packaging supply chain. Local wineries have long relied on scattered overseas procurement, which features unstable supply, uncontrollable delivery cycles and high comprehensive costs, severely restricting capacity expansion and international export layout of local wine enterprises.

As a well-established local Georgian wine producer with years of industrial experience, we have long aspired to fully upgrade our glass bottle production lines and build an independent, stable and efficient localized packaging supply system to completely get rid of external dependence. Nevertheless, we have been plagued by various cross-border cooperation difficulties for a long time. Most overseas service providers are unfamiliar with Georgia’s wine industry characteristics, local production specifications, environmental compliance standards and export trade rules, making it impossible for them to accurately capture our real production demands. Georgian wineries feature unique industrial attributes: seasonal centralized fermentation, parallel production of multiple wine categories, flexible customization of various bottle specifications, and concentrated bottling and delivery in peak seasons, resulting in fragmented and highly personalized production requirements.

In addition, as a small and medium-sized specialized manufacturer, we had no standardized and systematic equipment procurement plans in the early stage, and lacked sufficient understanding of glass production equipment parameters, line matching logic and process adaptation standards. This led to vague, scattered and unstructured demand communication with overseas suppliers. Coupled with language barriers, time zone differences, complicated trade procedures and high docking barriers between domestic and foreign equipment manufacturers, previous communications always resulted in demand misalignment, mismatched solutions and inappropriate equipment selection. No feasible upgrading and capacity expansion plan could be implemented, leaving our industrial upgrading stagnant for a long time.

We fortunately established cooperation with the Simplex team. Equipped with mature cross-border service capabilities, the team provides multilingual communication and actively coordinates time zone differences. They patiently guided us to sort out our scattered and ambiguous production demands, systematically sorted out our core requirements for capacity upgrading, packaging supporting, export stock preparation and flexible production, and thoroughly understood the production model, seasonal characteristics and local compliance requirements of Georgia’s wine industry. They completely broke cross-border information barriers and solved the long-standing core pain points of demand misalignment and difficult solution implementation in cross-border cooperation. Different from most commercial service providers that only focus on deal closure and ignore clients’ actual pain points, Simplex always thinks from our perspective. Regardless of our project scale, they deliver sincere, pragmatic and responsible services, making us feel reliable and reassured throughout the entire cross-border cooperation process.

With in-depth industry accumulation in packaging equipment and wine supporting supply chains, Simplex strictly screened and accurately matched a complete set of automatic glass bottle production equipment suitable for small and medium-sized wineries according to our actual capacity, flexible production demands, expansion plans and local compliance standards, covering the whole process of raw material melting, forming, annealing, defect detection and finished product sorting. Meanwhile, relying on mature Chinese supply chain resources, they connected us with high-quality glass bottle manufacturers with stable quality, high cost performance and reliable delivery, building an exclusive, stable and long-term packaging supply system. Facing the common industry problem that multiple equipment manufacturers intended to monopolize the entire project with single and poorly adapted solutions, Simplex prioritized our actual production and expansion effects, coordinated resources from multiple manufacturers, integrated the advantages of different equipment, avoided technical defects and cost waste of single-equipment solutions, and customized a highly adaptable, cost-effective and long-term stable integrated solution for us.

Throughout the whole project implementation process, Simplex took full charge of overall management and closed-loop control, covering solution customization, equipment selection, multi-manufacturer technical coordination, cross-border business negotiation, production scheduling, international logistics and customs clearance, on-site installation, multi-equipment joint debugging and calibration, line trial operation and process optimization. They actively coordinated multiple equipment manufacturers to cooperate fully and jointly tackle technical difficulties, efficiently solving various problems in equipment compatibility, process adaptation and cross-border delivery, ensuring the smooth commissioning and formal operation of the entire production line. The launch of the new automatic production line enabled us to successfully expand production capacity, completely eliminate the pain points of unstable packaging supply, limited capacity and uneven product quality, greatly improve our independent packaging capacity and export order delivery efficiency, and achieve leapfrog upgrading of overall enterprise competitiveness.

This cross-border cooperation has not only helped us complete industrial upgrading, but also brought us sincere friendship across borders. From patient demand sorting in the early stage and full dedication in project tackling to continuous empowerment in later operation and maintenance, Simplex’s professionalism, sincerity and consistent responsible attitude have completely changed our impression of cross-border service providers. Through frequent in-depth communication, mutual assistance and candid cooperation, both sides have built high mutual trust and profound friendship, far exceeding ordinary commercial partnerships.

Thanks to this in-depth cooperation, the Chinese team has gained an in-depth understanding of Georgia’s thousands-year-old wine history and culture, and fully recognized the high-quality wine resources and unique industrial charm of this small Eurasian country. Our cooperation is never limited to equipment upgrading and supply chain construction. Both sides continue to deepen two-way interaction and win-win long-term cooperation. Taking the initiative to build a two-way cooperation bridge, Simplex promotes industrial cultural exchange and resource sharing between the two countries.

Leveraging its advantages in Chinese market channels, import trade and brand operation, Simplex actively helps us explore the huge Chinese consumer market. They provided systematic guidance on China’s market access standards, import customs clearance procedures, label compliance specifications and cross-border sales systems, and connected us with high-quality Chinese importers, offline retail stores and online sales platforms, fully empowering the export of characteristic Georgian wine to China and helping our local wine brands take root and gain popularity in China, allowing Georgia’s thousand-year wine culture and high-quality products to be recognized and loved by more Chinese consumers.

At present, the two sides have built a two-way open, mutually complementary and long-term win-win cross-border cooperation pattern. China’s mature industrial equipment and supply chain system empower the quality improvement and capacity upgrading of Georgia’s local wine industry; Georgia’s high-quality characteristic wine resources enrich China’s imported wine market, realizing industrial interconnection, resource sharing and joint market development. Beyond commercial cooperation, lasting and pure cross-border friendship has been established, setting a model for industrial mutual assistance and friendly cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises of China and Georgia. Treating large enterprises and small and medium-sized specialized manufacturers equally with wholehearted services and full empowerment, Simplex is our most reliable long-term strategic partner and sincere friend for industrial upgrading, Chinese supply chain access and Chinese market expansion.
